Donnell Reservoir is located in a steep rocky canyon about 5 miles upstream from Beardsley Reservoir. Although the pictures don't show it, Donnell Pond is a large lake. Some sites have a view of the lake and some are back from the lake. Access is not easy. The campground can be accessed off of Interstate 5 either from Corning or Orland.
